# Quarantine

> Where suspicious submissions land instead of being dropped - viewable on every plan.

<Info>**Free** - the quarantine view is read-only on Free. Rescuing (re-delivering) a submission is [Pro](/docs/features/quarantine-rescue).</Info>

When a submission scores as suspicious under [spam filtering](/docs/features/spam-filtering),
it isn't discarded. It's written to the form's **Spam** folder, alongside the
normal **Inbox**, so nothing a visitor (or bot) posts to your `access_key`
just vanishes without a trace.

## Viewing quarantined submissions

1. Open a form in the [dashboard](https://app.formpaste.com).
2. Switch to the **Spam** tab (next to **Inbox**).
3. Each row shows when it arrived and its status - the same submission data
   you'd see in the inbox.

Both tabs show a badge count so you can tell at a glance whether anything
landed in quarantine without opening it.

<Note>
  Quarantined submissions are **not emailed** to your destination address —
  that's the point of quarantine. You only see them by checking the Spam tab
  in the dashboard.
</Note>

## Free vs. Pro

* **Free**: full visibility into what's quarantined and why it landed there.
  You cannot re-deliver a quarantined submission from the dashboard on Free.
* **Pro**: adds the **rescue** action - mark a quarantined submission "not
  spam" and it's whitelisted and re-delivered to your inbox and destination
  email. See [Quarantine rescue](/docs/features/quarantine-rescue).

Attempting to rescue on Free returns an `upgrade_required` error (403).

## Retention

Quarantined submissions follow the same [retention](/docs/features/submission-history)
window as inbox submissions for your plan.
